Mod support is not officially confirmed

Paradox's public LEGO Skylines pages confirm extensive in-game customization, but they do not currently define a modding API, editor SDK, custom-code support, import format, or mod browser.

This is a reported and frequently requested topic, not a confirmed feature list.

Customization is not the same as modding

Changing a plot or building with tools supplied by the game is confirmed customization. Importing external models, altering simulation code, distributing user files, and loading third-party scripts would be different capabilities. Evidence for one does not prove the others.

Workshop and custom-content reports

Reporting has raised expectations around Workshop-style content and external building creation. Until Paradox names the tools and distribution method, those claims must stay labeled unconfirmed. A store listing with a Workshop section or an official developer diary would materially change the status.

Will it be as moddable as Cities: Skylines?

No comparison is possible yet. Cities: Skylines has a long-running mod ecosystem, but LEGO Skylines is a separate game from a different developer. Its technical, licensing, platform, and moderation constraints may be different.

Console mods and user-generated content

No console mod browser, cross-platform content library, account requirement, moderation policy, or entitlement system has been announced. A PC Workshop report would not automatically establish console access.

What will update this page?

• A Steam Workshop section on the official app page.
• A developer diary showing imports or sharing.
• Console store wording for user-generated content.
